Working to Reduce Disparities in Infant Mortality
By Sarah Trieweiler
ICH Research Associates Ffyona Patel and Susan Choi, along with colleagues from the Center for Community Health Education Research and Service (CCHERS), delivered trainings on the collection of race, ethnicity, and language data collection to infant mortality coalitions in Worcester and Springfield. These trainings are part of a Massachusetts Department of Public Health contract with the Office of Mental Health to provide the coalitions with tools to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in infant mortality.
