Dr. Leah Zallman Publishes Study on Immigrants’ Contribution to Medicare

Dr. Leah Zallman, a Cambridge Health Alliance physician and ICH Junior Scientist, published a study this week in Health Affairs detailing immigrants’ significant contribution to Medicare. Zallman and colleagues found that between 2002 and 2009, immigrants contributed an estimated $115.2 billion more to the Medicare Trust Fund than they withdrew.
