Ben Goldberg

Ben Goldberg (He/him/his) is a Research Associate at the Institute for Community Health. At ICH, Ben is involved in evaluation projects about disparities in substance use disorder treatment, recovery and re-entry services, community power building, health and racial equity, and care coordination models. Prior to his work with ICH, Ben was a civil rights paralegal in Chicago where he worked with attorneys to challenge discriminatory policies and practices in employment, housing, healthcare, and education. Ben also has experience in international human rights work and has researched public health interventions and infrastructure in Cuba.

Ben graduated from Northwestern University where he received a BS in Social Policy and minors in Spanish and Global Health Studies. He lives in Boston with his partner and loves to read, travel, explore the outdoors, take photos, and dream about having a pet dog one day.
