Each year, state and federal governments provide fiscal resources to help families build wealth. However, most of these resources go to those who are already wealthy. In this program, participants will learn about the Past, Present and Future of Matched Savings programs designed for people with low-to-moderate incomes. This program is for people who want to know how matched savings programs incentivize working families to boost their savings and build wealth through higher education, small business development, and homeownership and in turn directly reduce the racial wealth gap in our communities.
