Culturally responsive evaluation requires flexibility, time, and responsiveness but leads to much richer and more rigorous results, and more accurately captures the knowledge, perceptions, and experiences of communities. We joined Laura Blasi, evaluation program officer at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, to talk about culturally responsive and participatory evaluation and best practices in the field.
