Meet Adriana Bearse, MS, a new Research Associate at ICH. Adriana’s research interests include program development and evaluation; community-based participatory research; the social determinants of health and health disparities; and access to health and social services. She has experience working with underserved and non-English-speaking communities, as well as working with coalition-based initiatives. Adriana also has experience in qualitative and mixed-methods research as well as survey development and analysis. Prior to joining ICH, she worked in Community Benefits for the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Community Health Improvement in assessment, programming, and evaluation for the hospital’s various community initiatives. At ICH, Adriana’s work has primarily been in the areas of public health infrastructure improvement, needs assessment, program evaluation, special populations, and communications. Adriana received her bachelor’s degree in Human Biology of Health and Disease from Brown University and her master’s degree in Society, Human Development and Health as well as a certificate in Health Communications from the Harvard School of Public Health.
