Last week, an article by CHA physician Adam Gaffney called, “Trump Is Scaring Immigrants Away from Healthcare Services to Help the Rich,” was published in VICE. The article demonstrates how the public charge rule threatens the health of immigrants and their families while simultaneously bolstering the Trump administration’s economic agenda that benefits only those at the top. Gaffney spoke with ICH’s Leah Zallman about findings from her research on the rule’s effects on children’s health coverage.
