Client: RIZE Massachusetts Foundation
Topic Areas: Behavioral health and substance use; Grant-making programs; Social determinants of health
Services: Participatory Evaluation, Training and Technical Assistance

In July 2023, ICH engaged with the RIZE Massachusetts Foundation to provide evaluation support for the two-year initiative Taking Action to Improve Access and Equity in Opioid Use Disorder Care. This project awarded grants to four community based organizations taking on projects to improve access and equity in opioid use disorder care by centering the needs of people who identify as Black, Latine, or Indigenous. ICH is working with Taking Action grantees to provide technical assistance and evaluation support, such as participatory development of logic models, evaluation plans, reporting frameworks, data dashboards, and data collection, analysis, and interpretation. The results of this project will be shared with RIZE Massachusetts and key stakeholders to inform decision-making and improve programs, policies, and access to opioid use disorder care.
