Real World Public Health is an annual half-day event geared toward Boston-area students interested in public health careers. This year’s event took place on April 4 at Cambridge Health Alliance’s Windsor Street Clinic. Co-sponsored by the Cambridge Public Health Department and ICH, this year’s event included students from Harvard School of Public Health, Boston University School of Public Health, Tufts University School of Medicine, Northeastern University, and Emerson College. Students had the opportunity to discuss current scenarios with local public health expert and learn more about the challenges and opportunities involved in local public health, beyond their classroom training.
