
Alan Orellana (He/Him/His) is the Senior Finance Manager at the Institute for Community Health. At ICH, Alan’s work includes include managing the payroll and general ledger, spend down analysis, processing expenses and assisting staff with purchases, reviewing contracts, invoicing funders, and complying with audit requirements. He also prepares the annual operating budget and reviews all client proposal budgets. Alan’s interests include public health initiatives in Latin America. Alan participates annually in medical brigades to countries such as Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador through the HOPE Worldwide community service brigade program. These brigades initially sparked his interest in the public health sector; Alan joined ICH in the hopes of learning and improving the efficacy and impact of the brigades and their communities.
Alan graduated from Trinity College in Hartford with BAs in Economics and History in 2014. He is fluent in Spanish.
