Sarah Jalbert

Executive Director

Sarah Jalbert (she/her) is the Executive Director of the Institute for Community Health. As Executive Director, she is responsible for all aspects of ICH’s operations, including our research and evaluation projects, staffing, budget and finance, and business development. Her research interests include justice system reform, behavioral health and disabilities, and health equity. Prior to joining ICH in 2020, she spent over 20 years as a researcher and evaluator at Abt Associates, where she led a portfolio of criminal legal system and behavioral health research and evaluation projects. Sarah has a BA in Sociology from Northeastern University and an MA in Applied Sociology and PhD in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She lives north of Boston with her family, two cats, and an array of outdoor wildlife.
