
Sarah Jalbert (She/her/hers) is the Executive Director of the Institute for Community Health. As Executive Director she is responsible for all aspects of ICH’s operations, including our research and evaluation projects, staffing, budget and finance, and business development. Her research interests include justice system reform, the justice system, behavioral health, learning disorders, and health equity. She also enjoys learning about new research and evaluation methods and applying them to real-world problems. Prior to joining ICH in 2020, Sarah was a Principal Associate at Abt Associates, where she managed a portfolio of grants and contracts and led research and evaluation projects for various federal agencies.
Sarah holds a BA in Sociology from Northeastern University and a MA in Applied Sociology and a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She lives north of Boston with her two children, husband, two cats, and an array of outdoor wildlife.
