Sharon Touw, MPH

Sharon Touw (She/her/hers) is an Epidemiologist III at the Institute for Community Health. At ICH, Sharon manages evaluation projects about early childhood education, parenting, health systems and substance use treatment. She also has contributed to a body of work highlighting the contributions of immigrants to the health care economy and workforce and the potential impact of anti-immigration policies and rhetoric on utilization of health care and food access programs.

Prior to her work with ICH, Sharon worked at the Boston University School of Public Health in an administrative role while pursuing her MPH with a focus in epidemiology. She also has a BA from University of Massachusetts-Boston. While not working, Sharon cooks a lot at home for friends and family or for the guests of the Wednesday Night Supper Club, a feeding program she has been involved with for more than a decade.
